• Participate in surgical research activities and departmental publications
• Perform surgical procedures in the teaching hospital under consultant guidance
• Assist the head of department in surgical department administration

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MS General Surgery from an NMC-recognised institution required
• NMC or state medical council registration mandatory
• Minimum teaching experience as per NMC assistant professor eligibility norms required
• Operation theatre experience in a teaching hospital required
• Research publications or surgical case reports preferred
• Familiarity with competency-based surgical education methods preferred
• Strong surgical skills and clinical teaching ability required
