📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical faculty in managing pre-operative and post-operative patients
• Assist in operation theatre procedures under consultant supervision
• Conduct ward rounds and document clinical progress notes
• Support emergency surgical case management
• Supervise interns and MBBS students during surgical postings
• Assist in preparation of clinical case presentations for teaching rounds
• Maintain operation theatre and surgical ward documentation

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS from an NMC-recognised institution required
• MS General Surgery or senior residency in a teaching hospital preferred
• NMC or state medical council registration mandatory
• Prior operation theatre and ward posting experience required
• Familiarity with surgical documentation and OT protocols required
• Experience with clinical supervision of junior staff is an advantage
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills required
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
