📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision and quality standard for all studio output across brand identity, packaging, digital, and communications design briefs
• Develop original creative concepts and design directions for flagship client pitches, brand launches, and strategic rebranding programmes
• Provide creative direction, mentoring, and performance feedback to senior designers, mid-level designers, and specialist creatives across all studio functions
• Present creative concepts and strategic design rationale to senior clients including CMOs, brand directors, and CEOs with authority and confidence
• Partner with studio management on new business development by leading agency pitches, developing credentials presentations, and building strategic client relationships
• Define and maintain studio creative standards, design culture, and the quality benchmark that distinguishes the studio's output in Chennai's competitive market
• Stay at the forefront of design, culture, and category trends to ensure the studio's creative thinking remains fresh, relevant, and commercially valuable

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative discipline with 8 to 16 years of progressive design studio or agency career experience
• Demonstrable track record of creative leadership on brand identity, packaging, and integrated communications projects for significant clients across multiple categories
• Expert-level design skills across the full Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to personally develop and execute concepts at the highest quality level when required
• Strong client management and presentation skills with experience leading C-suite presentations and building long-term creative partnerships with senior brand decision-makers
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain design talent and build a studio culture that attracts strong creative professionals
• Experience contributing to new business development through credentials presentations, pitch leadership, and strategic networking in Chennai's business community
• Deep knowledge of design across brand identity, packaging, environmental, digital, and motion disciplines enabling credible creative direction across all studio service areas
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
