📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound communication from shippers, consignees, and clients regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and exceptions
• Track shipment SLA performance against committed delivery windows and proactively alert clients on at-risk consignments before SLA breach
• Manage POD (proof of delivery) collection follow-up from transporters or delivery teams and ensure timely submission to clients for invoice processing
• Register, log, and follow up on damage claims, shortage claims, and delivery dispute cases with the operations team for resolution
• Operate the logistics helpdesk or ticketing system to ensure all client queries are logged, categorized, and resolved within defined response SLAs
• Coordinate with transport coordinators, warehouse teams, and carrier partners to gather shipment status updates for client communication
• Prepare daily and weekly SLA performance MIS reports for clients covering on-time delivery rate, exception count, and claim resolution status
• Maintain client communication records for all escalations and ensure escalation timelines and resolution steps are properly documented

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized institution
• 0 - 3 Years of experience in customer service, logistics back-office, or supply chain coordination roles
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for handling client and transporter interactions via phone and email
• Familiarity with logistics SLA concepts including on-time delivery percentage, exception rate, and claim resolution timelines
• Basic knowledge of POD collection procedures and freight claim documentation for logistics customer service
• Comfort with helpdesk or ticketing tools and ERP data entry for shipment status updates and case logging
• Patient and organized approach to managing multiple open client queries simultaneously within defined response time commitments
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
