📌 Key Responsibilities

• Schedule vendor and carrier deliveries at the inbound dock and allocate dock bays to avoid congestion and maximize unloading throughput
• Verify incoming consignments against purchase orders or advance shipping notices for quantities, SKUs, and packaging condition
• Supervise unloading operations and ensure material handling equipment is used safely during heavy or fragile goods receipt
• Conduct quality gate-in inspection for goods condition, labeling, batch codes, and expiry dates as per client requirements
• Process GRN entries in the WMS accurately and completely for each received consignment within the same shift
• Report short shipments, damages, labeling issues, and unauthorized deliveries with photographic documentation to the supervisor and vendor
• Coordinate with the put-away team for timely storage of received goods into bin locations to clear the receiving dock for the next delivery
• Compile daily inbound MIS covering volumes received, GRN completion rate, discrepancy count, and vendor compliance scores

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized institution
• 0 - 3 Years of experience in inbound warehouse operations, GRN processing, or material receiving roles
• Hands-on knowledge of GRN processing, ASN matching, and inbound discrepancy documentation procedures
• Ability to conduct visual quality gate-in inspections for product condition, labeling, and batch code verification
• WMS transaction experience for inbound receiving and location put-away is a strong advantage
• Good numerical accuracy for quantity verification and discrepancy count recording during goods receipt
• Physical fitness for dock-side work involving supervision of unloading, stacking, and material movement activities
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
