📌 Key Responsibilities
- Design and install CCTV, video surveillance, and VMS systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Install access control systems including card readers, biometric terminals, electromagnetic locks, and controllers.
- Lay and terminate structured cabling systems in Cat6 and Cat6A for data and telephone networks.
- Design and commission PA and public address systems for commercial buildings, malls, and campuses.
- Prepare ELV system drawings, schematics, and cable schedules for shop drawing submission.
- Configure and test IP cameras, NVRs, VMS software, and access control management platforms.
- Prepare O and M manuals, as-built drawings, and operator training materials for ELV system handover.
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.E. in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in ELV systems including CCTV, access control, and structured cabling.
- Hands-on experience with IP camera configuration, VMS software, and access control management systems.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards including TIA-568 and ISO 11801 for enterprise networks.
- Ability to prepare ELV system drawings using AutoCAD and interpret consultant ELV specifications.
- IP networking basics including VLANs, PoE switches, and camera network design are essential.
- Experience with fire alarm, SMATV, or BMS integration as part of IBMS scope is an advantage.
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
