📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the department's academic activities including curriculum planning, syllabus revision, and timetable management
• Mentor junior faculty in teaching methodologies, research publication, and professional development
• Coordinate NAAC criterion documentation for the department including student outcomes and faculty achievements
• Represent the department in Academic Council, Board of Studies, and college committee meetings
• Build industry linkages, arrange guest lectures, and organize departmental seminars and conferences
• Monitor student academic performance, attendance, and progression within the department
• Prepare departmental budget, resource requirements, and infrastructure proposals to college management

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject with UGC NET or SET qualification
• 8 - 18 Years of undergraduate or postgraduate teaching experience with at least 3 years in a faculty leadership role
• Strong research profile with publications in Scopus / SCI journals and research project grants preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of faculty members and support their growth
• Experience in NAAC documentation, Board of Studies, and Academic Council participation
• Administrative skills for managing timetable, examination schedules, and departmental events
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for student counselling and faculty coordination
