📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall educational vision and strategic leadership for the international school
• Ensure full compliance with IB or Cambridge accreditation and programme standards including evaluation visits
• Lead senior leadership team meetings and whole-school strategic planning processes
• Manage the school's full budget including capital expenditure, staffing, and curriculum resource allocation
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with the school's parent community, board of governors, and external stakeholders
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-quality teaching and non-teaching staff
• Drive continuous school improvement by analysing outcomes data, stakeholder feedback, and international benchmarks

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Ed. or Ph.D. in Education with substantial school leadership experience
• Minimum fifteen years in education with at least seven years in a principal or head of school role
• Proven track record of leading an accredited IB or Cambridge international school to high standards
• Experience managing multi-million rupee school budgets and reporting to a board of governors
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for leading a diverse international school community
• Strong knowledge of international curriculum frameworks, accreditation requirements, and global education trends
• Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing, staff development, and inclusive school culture
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
