📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of the women's nursing college hostel including discipline, safety, attendance, and cleanliness
• Maintain hostel registers: resident list, attendance, permission log, visitor record, and late-night duty nurse schedule
• Ensure quality and hygiene of hostel food service and coordinate with the kitchen staff and management
• Handle student welfare issues, counsel students on personal challenges, and escalate serious issues to college administration
• Enforce hostel rules, curfew timings, and uniform norms as per college regulations
• Coordinate with hospital matron and college faculty when students on night duty require hostel return clearance
• Liaise with parents and guardians for permission, leave, and welfare updates; respond to emergency calls promptly

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Any graduate degree; postgraduate preferred
• 2 - 8 Years of hostel administration or women's residential services experience
• Prior experience in a nursing college, medical college, or paramedical institution hostel preferred
• Good counselling, empathy, and communication skills for nursing student welfare management
• Understanding of nursing students' rotating shift schedules and clinical posting timings
• Willingness to reside in the hostel campus or remain on-call during duty hours
• Female candidates strongly preferred for women's nursing college hostel management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
