📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel accounts in Tally ERP including daily revenue entries, expense vouchers, and journal adjustments.
• Process hotel guest invoices, corporate billing statements, and OTA reconciliation entries accurately.
• Manage accounts receivable, track debtor ageing, follow up on outstanding payments from corporate accounts.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and input tax credit reconciliation for the hotel.
• Reconcile daily front desk cash, POS collections, and bank deposits with accounting records.
• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers in coordination with the purchase and stores team.
• Assist the accounts manager in monthly profit and loss preparation and expense analysis reporting.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognised university or Diploma in Hotel Management with accounts specialisation.
• 0 to 3 years of accounts experience in a hotel, hospitality company, or commercial organisation.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP for daily accounting entries, ledger maintenance, and financial report generation.
• Knowledge of GST computation, hotel billing procedures, and input tax credit reconciliation.
• Familiarity with hotel property management system billing modules for revenue recording and invoice generation.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail for daily revenue reconciliation and ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accounts reporting, debtor tracking, and reconciliation schedules.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
