📌 Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guestrooms daily following the hotel's housekeeping checklist and quality standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, replace towels, and restock bathroom amenities to standard par levels.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms including toilets, washbasins, showers, mirrors, and bathroom fixtures thoroughly.
• Operate housekeeping trolleys with adequate supplies for the allocated room section each shift.
• Clean corridors, lifts, and public areas on assigned floors as part of the housekeeping section duties.
• Report maintenance defects such as broken fixtures, electrical faults, or plumbing issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow lost-and-found procedures by logging and handing over any guest articles found in rooms or corridors.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass from a recognised board; certificate in housekeeping from a vocational training centre is an added advantage.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, serviced apartments, or facility cleaning services.
• Basic understanding of hotel room status codes and housekeeping checklist procedures.
• Ability to handle housekeeping chemicals safely and follow cleaning protocols for different room surfaces.
• Good physical stamina to complete room cleaning duties across multiple floors during a full shift.
• Honest and trustworthy with regard to guest belongings and privacy during room servicing.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including early morning, split, and weekend shifts as required by the hotel.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
