📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping attendants on assigned floors to ensure rooms are cleaned and serviced to hotel standards.
• Inspect check-out, vacant, and occupied rooms to verify cleanliness, amenity levels, and presentation quality.
• Prepare daily housekeeping task sheets and allocate rooms to attendants based on occupancy and section strength.
• Monitor linen, towel, and guest amenity inventories and raise timely requisitions to maintain adequate floor stocks.
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the property manager.
• Train new housekeeping attendants on standard operating procedures, chemical handling, and room service protocols.
• Coordinate with the front desk on room status updates, priority cleans, late check-outs, and early arrival requests.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or Diploma in Hotel Management from an AICTE-approved institute.
• 1 to 4 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or serviced apartment with supervisory exposure.
• Knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, room inspection techniques, linen management, and public area cleaning standards.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants on a busy hotel floor during peak occupancy.
• Basic Tamil and English communication for interacting with staff and handling guest complaints professionally.
• Familiarity with room status terminology and basic property management system operation is an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as required by the hotel's operational demands.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
