Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Hub In-Charge / Hub Supervisor positions in Chennai's private Courier and Last Mile Delivery sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Open the hub each morning, receive inbound bags from linehaul vehicles, and verify bag and consignment counts against the linehaul manifest
• Assign daily delivery beats to delivery executives based on zone allocation and manage beat reshuffling for absent executives
• Supervise sorters to ensure zone-wise sorting, bag loading, and vehicle dispatch are completed within the morning dispatch window
• Conduct daily briefing with delivery executives covering delivery targets, COD amounts, and special handling instructions
• Reconcile COD collections from delivery executives at end of shift and prepare daily COD remittance reports
• Handle delivery exceptions including failed deliveries, lost consignments, and customer complaints in coordination with the NDR team
• Prepare daily hub MIS including delivered, undelivered, RTO, and COD volumes and submit to the branch manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree from a recognized institution
• 1 - 4 Years of experience in courier hub operations, delivery management, or logistics supervision
• Working knowledge of courier hub operations including manifest verification, beat allocation, and sorter management
• Experience handling COD reconciliation and daily cash remittance processes at a courier or e-commerce hub
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and MS Excel for hub MIS preparation and tracking
• Good communication and team leadership skills for managing sorters and delivery executives on the floor
• Familiarity with courier tracking software and consignment management systems used in hub operations
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
