📌 Key Responsibilities

• Review credit files, KYC documentation, and disbursement records for completeness and accuracy
• Check adherence to RBI NBFC-MFI qualifying asset norms and fair practice code at branch level
• Assess cash management controls, petty cash handling, and branch safe custody practices
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and corrective action recommendations
• Track closure of prior audit observations and report pending items to head office audit team
• Support the compliance function with PMLA, KYC, and RBI reporting submissions as required

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have experience conducting internal audits at NBFC-MFI or microfinance branches?
• Can you review credit files and identify documentation gaps or policy non-compliance?
• Are you familiar with RBI NBFC-MFI qualifying asset norms, fair practice code, and PMLA requirements?
• How do you approach a surprise branch audit to identify control weaknesses?
• Do you hold or are you pursuing CA Inter or a similar audit-oriented qualification?
• How do you write a clear and actionable internal audit report with risk ratings?
• How do you handle a branch manager who disputes an audit finding?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
