📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in producing brand collateral including brochures, leaflets, posters, flyers, and presentation templates for studio clients
• Create design drafts and initial layout concepts using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop under the supervision of a senior designer or creative lead
• Resize and adapt approved design assets across multiple format specifications for print, digital, and social media applications as briefed
• Maintain organised folders of source files, approved artwork, and brand assets for each client account in the studio's shared file system
• Apply typography and color theory principles to layout tasks including text hierarchy, spacing, and color palette adherence per brand guidelines
• Prepare files for print production by checking bleed, trim marks, color mode, and resolution as per vendor prepress specifications
• Attend design briefings, take accurate notes, and incorporate feedback from senior designers and account managers into revised design drafts

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Fine Arts from a recognised design institute
• Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop demonstrated through a design portfolio of student or internship projects
• Basic understanding of typography principles, color theory, and layout composition applied in real design exercises
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign for multi-page document design such as brochures, catalogues, and annual reports
• Ability to work within defined brand guidelines and produce collateral that is consistent with established visual identity systems
• Willingness to learn prepress and print production basics including CMYK color mode, bleed settings, and print-ready file preparation
• A portfolio demonstrating layout ability, typographic awareness, and understanding of basic brand design principles is mandatory
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
