📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design landscape masterplans for residential townships, commercial campuses, and public open space projects.
• Prepare planting design drawings with species selection appropriate for Chennai's climate, soil, and maintenance context.
• Produce AutoCAD landscape layout drawings covering hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and site lighting zones.
• Develop hardscape details for paving, water features, boundary walls, pergolas, and site furniture.
• Coordinate irrigation system design with MEP consultants to ensure efficient water management in landscape zones.
• Prepare material and plant specifications for contractor tendering and site implementation.
• Conduct site visits during landscape implementation to review installation quality and resolve contractor queries.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.L.Arch from a recognized landscape architecture institution or M.Arch with specialization in landscape design.
• 0 to 4 years of experience at a private landscape architecture or architecture firm with landscape design exposure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for landscape layout drawings and SketchUp for 3D landscape visualization.
• Knowledge of plant species suitable for Chennai's tropical climate, maintenance requirements, and seasonal behaviour.
• Understanding of hardscape design, drainage grading, and irrigation system layout principles.
• Ability to prepare plant and material specifications for landscape contractor documentation.
• Portfolio demonstrating landscape design work including planting plans, hardscape details, and completed project images.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
