📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment for guest linen, towels, and staff uniforms.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records, monitor par stock levels, and raise requisitions to prevent shortages.
• Handle guest laundry and dry cleaning requests, track garments, and ensure timely delivery back to guest rooms.
• Manage staff uniform issuance, collection, cleaning, repair, and maintain uniform inventory for all hotel departments.
• Identify and treat stained linens using appropriate stain removal chemicals without damaging fabric quality.
• Monitor and manage laundry chemical usage including detergent, softener, and bleach within cost targets.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and F and B departments for timely linen supply to floors and restaurant operations.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass from a recognised board with practical experience in commercial laundry operations in a hotel or laundry unit.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a hotel laundry, industrial laundry, or institutional linen management environment.
• Practical knowledge of commercial washing machine, dryer, and industrial ironing equipment operation.
• Understanding of linen par stock management, inventory control, and linen useful life assessment procedures.
• Knowledge of laundry chemical categories, stain removal techniques, and fabric care for different linen types.
• Good organisational skills for managing linen inventory records, uniform tracking, and laundry production scheduling.
• Physical stamina to manage laundry operations in a hot and humid laundry room environment during full shifts.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
