📌 Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on sewing machines, knitting machines, dyeing machines, and textile processing equipment as per the PM plan
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery to minimise downtime and restore operations promptly
- Maintain lubrication schedules for all assigned machines and ensure correct lubricant type and quantity is applied as per OEM specifications
- Replace worn parts such as needles, feed dogs, timing belts, bearings, and electrical components on textile machinery
- Calibrate sewing machine stitch length, tension, and speed settings after maintenance to meet production quality requirements
- Maintain maintenance records including PM completion checklists, breakdown register, and spare parts consumption logs
- Liaise with production supervisors to schedule maintenance windows during shift changeovers to minimise production impact
