📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage print production projects from artwork sign-off through vendor briefing, proof approval, print supervision, and final delivery to clients
• Conduct prepress quality checks on design team artwork files verifying bleed, trim, color mode, resolution, font embedding, and overprint settings before vendor submission
• Brief print vendors on project specifications including substrate, print process, finish, quantity, and delivery timeline and obtain competitive cost quotations
• Review and approve color proofs from vendors against approved artwork and client brand color standards before authorising print production runs
• Maintain a vendor database including offset printers, digital printers, packaging converters, signage fabricators, and speciality print suppliers in Chennai
• Track all active print jobs across the studio's client portfolio, escalate delays, and coordinate revised timelines with account managers and clients
• Build knowledge of paper grades, board weights, print finishes, lamination types, foiling, embossing, and die-cut processes to advise design teams on production feasibility

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Graduate degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or any discipline with 0 to 3 years of print production or prepress experience
• Working knowledge of offset and digital print processes and the ability to read and verify print-ready artwork files for technical accuracy
• Experience managing vendor relationships for commercial printing including briefing, cost negotiation, proof approval, and delivery tracking
• Familiarity with prepress requirements including bleed, CMYK and Pantone color modes, resolution standards, and file formats for print output
• Basic understanding of print substrates, paper grades, lamination types, and print finishing options to guide material selection for projects
• Organised and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills for tracking multiple concurrent print jobs across different vendor facilities
• Good communication skills for coordinating between design teams, vendors, account managers, and clients throughout the print production cycle
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
