📌 Key Responsibilities

• Track all pending test reports in the LIS and follow up with respective laboratory departments to ensure report release within the committed turnaround time.
• Verify completed reports for accuracy including correct patient name, accession number, test name, reference ranges, and authorising technician or physician signature before dispatch.
• Dispatch final reports to patients in person, via email with password-protected PDF, and via WhatsApp links as per the patient's preferred delivery mode.
• Coordinate with tele-radiology reporting vendors for CT, MRI, and X-ray reports, track pending studies, and receive and upload completed reports to the patient file.
• Manage courier dispatch of physical reports to referring hospitals, corporate clients, and outstation physicians with consignment tracking until confirmed delivery.
• Handle patient and doctor queries about pending reports, expected release times, and critical value notifications via phone and in-person communication.
• Maintain a daily pending report register and report TAT exceptions to the lab manager or quality team for root cause analysis and process improvement.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline with good computer literacy and experience in an administrative or data coordination role in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in LIS navigation for report status tracking, accession number lookup, and test result verification across multiple laboratory departments.
• Strong attention to detail for verifying report completeness including patient demographics, test values, reference ranges, and authorisation signatures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Tamil and English for coordinating with patients, referring physicians, and laboratory departments.
• Familiarity with digital report delivery methods including email, WhatsApp, and online patient portal uploads with data privacy compliance.
• Ability to prioritise STAT report dispatch and critical value communication over routine report queues under high workload conditions.
• Knowledge of courier and logistic processes for physical report dispatch to corporate clients and referring hospitals outside the centre.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
