📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage room reservations received through OTA portals, direct calls, emails, and walk-in booking requests daily.
• Update room availability, rates, and restrictions across all OTA channels through the hotel's channel manager software.
• Send booking confirmations, pre-arrival communications, and modification or cancellation updates to guests promptly.
• Monitor overbooking levels and coordinate with the front desk to manage sell-through and denial situations.
• Load seasonal rates, promotional rates, and package rates onto OTA extranets as directed by the property manager.
• Generate daily reservation reports including arrivals, departures, occupancy forecast, and in-house counts.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, special requests, and booking notes in the hotel property management system.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM) from an AICTE-approved hotel management institute.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or OTA management; freshers with hotel training are considered.
• Familiarity with OTA portals such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, and Agoda for reservation management.
• Basic knowledge of hotel channel manager software and property management system reservation modules.
• Good written English for handling booking confirmations, guest communication, and email correspondence.
• Attention to detail for accurate rate loading, availability management, and reservation data entry.
• Willingness to work morning or afternoon shifts and handle reservation volume spikes during peak travel seasons.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
