📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sampling department to develop proto, fit, pre-production, and shipment samples for all active buyer styles within the required timelines
- Read and interpret buyer technical packs, specification sheets, and construction details to brief the sampling team accurately
- Manage fit sessions in-house or at buyer offices and translate fit comments into actionable pattern and construction corrections
- Coordinate with the pattern room, CAD team, fabric store, and trims procurement to ensure timely material availability for sampling
- Track sample TNA for all active styles and escalate delays in fabric, trims, or approval responses to the merchandising team
- Maintain sample room output records, buyer comment logs, and approval status trackers for all styles
- Develop and train junior sample tailors and sample coordinators in the sampling team
