📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead design projects end-to-end across brand identity, packaging, and integrated visual communications briefs for the studio's key client accounts
• Develop original creative concepts that reflect client positioning, category conventions, and target audience insights across brand and packaging briefs
• Present design concepts and strategy to clients with clear articulation of the creative rationale, design decisions, and brand application logic
• Provide creative direction, quality review, and mentoring to junior and mid-level designers working within the same client project teams
• Oversee print production quality by reviewing prepress files, approving vendor proofs, and ensuring final output meets brand and technical standards
• Collaborate with design strategists and account managers to define the creative scope, production timeline, and resource plan for incoming project briefs
• Build and continuously improve brand identity systems, packaging design toolkits, and reusable design components that increase studio output efficiency

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des in Graphic Design or Visual Communication with 3 to 8 years of progressive design studio or agency experience
• Demonstrated portfolio of brand identity and packaging design projects showing creative leadership, originality, and strong visual communications thinking
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign with advanced knowledge of print production, color management, and prepress
• Experience presenting design concepts to clients and receiving and incorporating strategic feedback through multiple revision cycles
• Ability to direct and quality-review work produced by junior designers and ensure output meets studio quality standards across concurrent projects
• Strong typographic skills with the ability to design and specify custom type hierarchies for brand identity and packaging applications
• Exposure to brand strategy and the ability to translate brand positioning documents into compelling and coherent visual design systems
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
