📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the agency's SEO team and manage the full lifecycle of SEO campaigns for multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability
• Develop and oversee link building strategies including digital PR, HARO outreach, guest posting, and broken link reclamation
• Collaborate with content strategists and writers to align editorial plans with keyword targeting, E-E-A-T signals, and topic authority requirements
• Deliver monthly and quarterly SEO performance reports to clients covering traffic growth, keyword movements, backlink acquisition, and conversion attribution
• Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and communicate implications and recovery strategies to the team and clients proactively
• Mentor and develop junior SEO executives and link building specialists within the agency's SEO practice

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 to 8 years of SEO experience with a track record of growing organic traffic for multiple client websites in an agency environment
• Deep expertise in technical SEO including Core Web Vitals optimisation, structured data implementation, crawl budget management, and log file analysis
• Proven experience managing link building campaigns that have delivered measurable improvements in domain authority and keyword rankings
• Experience leading a team of SEO executives or link building specialists and providing quality review on deliverables
• Proficiency in advanced SEO tools including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Lumar, or DeepCrawl
• Strong client communication skills with the ability to present complex SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Graduate degree in any discipline; advanced SEO certifications from Semrush, BrightEdge, or Moz are advantageous
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
