📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store-level accounts in Tally ERP including daily sales entries and expense ledgers
• Reconcile POS cash and card settlement reports with bank and system records daily
• Process vendor invoices and coordinate payment approvals with the store manager
• Manage petty cash disbursements and maintain petty cash voucher records
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial summary reports for the regional accounts team
• Support GST return filing by compiling purchase and sales data for the accounts department
• Assist during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reconciliation statements

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com. or equivalent commerce graduate from a recognised university
• Proficiency in Tally ERP for day-to-day accounts management
• One to four years of accounts experience in a retail store or FMCG company
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for reconciliation tasks
• Basic knowledge of GST accounting applicable to retail transactions
• Ability to meet monthly reporting deadlines under the direction of the regional finance team
• Experience with bank reconciliation and vendor payment processing is required
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
