📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational running of the design studio including project scheduling, resource allocation, deadline tracking, and delivery coordination
• Maintain a clear view of the full project pipeline and ensure that incoming briefs are resourced, scheduled, and tracked through to client delivery without delay
• Oversee studio billing, client invoicing, purchase orders, vendor payments, and financial reporting in coordination with the studio's accounting function
• Coordinate resource planning across the design team to balance workloads, prevent bottlenecks, and ensure creative quality is maintained under peak production demand
• Manage vendor relationships including print suppliers, photographers, freelance designers, and production houses, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met
• Develop and improve studio workflows, project management systems, and operational processes that increase efficiency and reduce production errors across all projects
• Support the studio founders and Creative Director with business reporting, capacity planning, team hiring logistics, and operational strategy for studio growth

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or B.Des degree with 4 to 10 years of experience in design studio, creative agency, or marketing operations management
• Demonstrated ability to manage a design studio's full project pipeline from brief intake through design production to client delivery and billing
• Strong financial literacy with experience in client invoicing, vendor payment management, studio budget oversight, and project cost tracking
• Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or studio-specific tools for scheduling and deadline management
• Excellent interpersonal and team coordination skills with the ability to work between creative teams, account managers, vendors, and clients diplomatically
• Organisational excellence and attention to detail for tracking multiple concurrent projects across different designers, deadlines, and client accounts simultaneously
• Familiarity with the design process, production terminology, and studio workflows to credibly manage schedules and resource plans with the design team
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
