📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain planning function including demand forecasting, inventory positioning, replenishment planning, and network optimization
• Own the S and OP (sales and operations planning) process by facilitating monthly cross-functional alignment between commercial, operations, procurement, and logistics teams
• Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies including safety stock calibration, SKU rationalization, and slow-moving inventory management
• Manage strategic vendor and carrier relationships to ensure supply continuity, competitive freight rates, and service level compliance
• Use supply chain analytics to identify demand variability, lead time risk, and cost inefficiency patterns and drive structural improvement
• Oversee ERP supply chain modules (SAP MM, Oracle Logistics, or equivalent) for data integrity, MRP runs, and planning parameter maintenance
• Design and periodically review the supply chain network including warehouse footprint, distribution routes, and sourcing strategy for cost and service optimization
• Lead and develop a team of supply chain analysts, planners, and coordinators across planning and logistics functions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field from a recognized institution; APICS CSCP or CLTD certification preferred
• 6 - 14 Years of experience in supply chain planning, demand management, or logistics management roles
• Proven leadership of end-to-end supply chain including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination
• Strong S and OP facilitation experience with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment on demand-supply balance
• Deep ERP proficiency in SAP MM, Oracle Logistics, or equivalent for supply chain planning and MRP operations
• Excellent analytical skills for supply chain network design, cost modeling, and performance benchmarking
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, and customs brokers in a complex multi-modal supply chain environment
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
