📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth technical SEO audits identifying crawlability issues, indexation gaps, duplicate content, redirect chains, and structured data errors
• Implement and validate schema markup including Article, FAQPage, Product, LocalBusiness, and BreadcrumbList schemas for client websites
• Diagnose and resolve Core Web Vitals issues including Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, and Cumulative Layout Shift on client sites
• Analyse server log files to understand Googlebot crawl patterns and identify pages wasting crawl budget on low-value URLs
• Audit and optimise site architecture, internal linking, and canonical tag implementation to ensure correct page authority flow and indexation signals
• Collaborate with web developers and WordPress teams to implement technical fixes including hreflang tags, XML sitemap updates, and robots.txt corrections
• Monitor client sites for new technical issues using automated crawl tools and alert the team before problems impact rankings or indexation

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of experience in technical SEO with a demonstrable track record of resolving complex technical issues that improved client rankings
• Expert-level proficiency with Screaming Frog SEO Spider and Google Search Console for crawl analysis and indexation monitoring
• Hands-on experience implementing structured data using JSON-LD and validating output using Google's Rich Results Test and Schema.org validator
• Understanding of JavaScript rendering and how Single Page Application frameworks like React and Angular affect Googlebot crawling and indexation
• Ability to interpret server log files and identify crawl budget problems, response code distributions, and bot behaviour anomalies
• Familiarity with page speed optimisation tools including Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and Web Vitals Chrome Extension
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any discipline; Google Search Console and technical SEO certifications are advantageous
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
