📌 Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood, urine, faecal, and cytology samples from small animals
• Perform complete blood counts, biochemistry panels, and urinalysis using veterinary analysers
• Conduct microscopic examination of samples including skin scrapings and ear swabs
• Assist in PCR-based testing for infectious disease diagnosis
• Maintain lab equipment calibration and quality control records
• Report diagnostic results accurately in the clinic software and flag critical values to the vet
• Manage reagent stocks, consumable inventory, and biosafety protocols in the laboratory

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology or Diploma in Clinical Lab Technology from a recognised institution
• Knowledge of veterinary diagnostic parameters and reference ranges for dogs and cats
• Experience with haematology and biochemistry analysers such as IDEXX or Mindray
• Competency in microscopy for cytology, urine sediment, and parasite identification
• Understanding of biosafety standards and proper handling of biological specimens
• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate diagnostic reports
• Experience in a veterinary or human pathology lab is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
