📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre including instrument sterilisation and sterile field setup
• Assist the surgeon during small animal soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures
• Monitor anaesthesia depth and vitals throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain IV lines, fluid rates, and drug administration records during surgery
• Provide post-operative nursing care including wound monitoring and pain assessment
• Educate pet owners on post-operative home care instructions
• Maintain OT hygiene and equipment readiness between surgical cases

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Para-Veterinary Diploma (D.V.L.S.) with specific training in surgical nursing and OT assistance
• Knowledge of small animal anaesthesia monitoring parameters and emergency responses
• Experience in instrument preparation, sterile draping, and surgical field maintenance
• Ability to calculate and administer drug doses under veterinary supervision
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols for soft tissue and orthopaedic cases
• Good observation skills to detect early signs of anaesthetic complications
• Willingness to work on-call shifts for emergency surgical cases
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
