📌 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain actuarial models for life, health, or general insurance pricing and reserving
• Compute policy reserves and liabilities under IRDAI valuation and Ind AS 104 frameworks
• Develop premium rating models based on mortality, morbidity, and lapse experience studies
• Support product development teams with actuarial pricing sign-off for new insurance products
• Perform experience analysis and update actuarial assumptions for valuation models
• Prepare actuarial reports for the Appointed Actuary and regulatory submissions
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing for ORSA (Own Risk Solvency Assessment)

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc. or B.Tech in Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science
• Minimum 3-5 papers passed in IAI (Institute of Actuaries of India) or similar actuarial exams
• 2 - 7 Years of actuarial modeling experience in life, health, or general insurance
• Proficiency in R, Python, or advanced Excel VBA for actuarial calculations
• Knowledge of IRDAI valuation guidelines and Ind AS 104 insurance contracts
• Ability to work with large actuarial datasets for experience analysis
• Strong mathematical and statistical reasoning skills
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
