📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies using Python and broker APIs
• Implement and maintain connections to exchange FIX Protocol and co-location systems
• Conduct historical backtesting of trading strategies using market data and performance analytics
• Optimise strategy execution for low latency and minimal slippage in live markets
• Monitor live algo performance and debug errors during trading hours
• Integrate risk controls and position limits into algo strategy execution logic
• Document strategy logic, backtesting results, and deployment procedures

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline
• Minimum one year of Python development experience in a financial or trading environment
• Familiarity with broker APIs, REST API integration, and FIX Protocol for order routing
• Understanding of quantitative finance concepts including statistical arbitrage and momentum
• Experience with backtesting frameworks and market data handling in Python
• Knowledge of low latency programming concepts and exchange co-location infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and meet deployment timelines in a fast-paced trading environment
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
