📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach Pharmacology theory subjects covering general pharmacology, autonomic pharmacology, CNS, cardiovascular, antimicrobial, endocrine, and chemotherapeutic drug groups to B.Pharm and Pharm.D students
• Conduct pharmacology practical sessions including in-vivo animal experiments, isolated tissue preparation, and computer-simulated pharmacology experiments where applicable
• Prepare OBE-aligned lesson plans, internal assessments, and university examination papers for pharmacology
• Guide M.Pharm Pharmacology dissertation students through experimental design, CPCSEA compliance, data analysis, and thesis writing
• Publish pharmacological research in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to department research output
• Maintain CPCSEA compliance documentation for the pharmacology animal laboratory
• Participate in pharmacy education faculty development programmes and pharmacology conferences

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Pharm in Pharmacology from a PCI-recognized institution
• Ph.D. in Pharmacology preferred for senior roles and increasingly required at leading institutions
• 3 - 8 Years of pharmacy college teaching experience with pharmacology as the primary subject
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of general pharmacology, systems pharmacology, and toxicology
• Experience supervising pharmacology practicals including in-vivo experimental models and CPCSEA compliance
• Interest in pharmacology research including drug screening, toxicology studies, or clinical pharmacology applications
• Familiarity with PCI curriculum requirements and inspection documentation for pharmacology departments
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
