📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects with concept design development, schematic layouts, and design ideation for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections as directed by the project architect.
• Build SketchUp 3D models for design studies and client presentation visuals under supervision.
• Support the team with design research including material samples, reference images, and precedent studies.
• Assist with the preparation of design presentation boards and PowerPoint decks for client review meetings.
• Accompany senior architects on site visits to understand construction progress and drawing reconciliation.
• Help maintain the project drawing register and file management system within the design studio.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Arch from a COA-recognized institution, either currently pursuing final year or recently completed the degree.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D floor plan and elevation drafting as taught in architectural education.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for quick 3D massing studies and conceptual design visualization.
• Ability to produce hand sketches and concept diagrams for communicating design ideas to the team.
• Eagerness to learn office drafting standards, drawing conventions, and professional project delivery processes.
• Good attention to detail in drawing preparation and ability to follow design direction from senior architects.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced private architecture studio environment with multiple concurrent projects.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
