📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans as directed.
• Draft door and window schedules, finish schedules, and room data sheets from design information provided.
• Apply correct drawing layering, line weights, dimensioning, and annotation standards as per office protocols.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes communicated by the project architect.
• Set up drawing sheets for plotting and printing at correct scales for review, submission, and site issue.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure the project drawing folder is correctly named and structured.
• Coordinate with the project team to confirm drawing information is current before printing or sharing externally.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or B.Arch with strong practical AutoCAD drafting skills.
• 0 to 3 years of experience producing 2D architectural working drawings in an architecture or construction firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D with working knowledge of architectural drawing conventions and sheet layout.
• Ability to prepare complete floor plan, elevation, and section drawing sets from sketches or design input.
• Good understanding of drawing file management, layer standards, and plotting procedures.
• Attention to accuracy in dimensioning, annotation, and cross-referencing across drawing sheets.
• Basic reading ability of structural and MEP drawings to assist with coordination check markups.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
