📌 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate banquet and event bookings including weddings, corporate conferences, social gatherings, and MICE events.
• Prepare detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) covering menu, setup layout, AV requirements, and timelines.
• Liaise with event clients before, during, and after events to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Supervise banquet setup teams for room arrangement, table d??cor, AV installation, and buffet layout.
• Coordinate with kitchen, F&B service, engineering, and housekeeping teams for seamless event execution.
• Monitor event timelines, food service sequences, and client-specific requirements during the event.
• Prepare post-event billing, reconcile charges with the client, and coordinate payment with the accounts team.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Hotel Management degree (BHM/BHMCT) from an IHM-affiliated institute with events or banqueting specialisation.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in hotel banqueting, MICE events, or events coordination in a private hotel.
• Thorough knowledge of banquet event order preparation, menu planning, and setup layout design.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills for managing corporate and social event clients.
• Ability to supervise banquet service teams and manage multiple simultaneous events during peak seasons.
• Familiarity with AV equipment basics, stage configurations, and technical event requirements.
• Good English and Tamil communication skills for interacting with corporate and individual event clients in Coimbatore.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
