📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for CEO / Co-Founder (E-commerce Startup) positions in Coimbatore's private E-commerce Company sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall business strategy, brand vision, and go-to-market approach for the e-commerce or D2C startup
• Lead fundraising efforts including angel, seed, and Series A rounds by building investor relationships and presenting compelling business narratives
• Own the P and L and ensure the company achieves GMV, revenue, margin, and unit economics targets aligned with investor milestones
• Build and retain the founding team and executive leadership across product, technology, marketing, and operations functions
• Develop the brand identity, D2C positioning, and customer acquisition strategy that differentiates the company in a competitive market
• Manage relationships with marketplace partners, logistics providers, investors, and media as the primary external face of the company
• Drive strategic decisions on product category expansion, supply chain investments, and new market entry based on performance data

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a reputed institution or Graduate degree with demonstrated e-commerce entrepreneurship or senior leadership experience
• 8 - 20 Years of experience in e-commerce, D2C brand management, or consumer internet with at least one startup or senior business leadership role
• Deep understanding of D2C or marketplace business models, unit economics, and the e-commerce competitive landscape in India
• Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and venture capital or angel fund processes in the Indian startup ecosystem
• Strong grasp of e-commerce growth drivers including CAC, LTV, repeat rate, contribution margin, and GMV per marketing rupee
• Demonstrated ability to build high-performing cross-functional teams and lead organizations through rapid scale phases
• Exceptional communication and vision articulation skills for engaging investors, brand partners, and talent at every company stage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
