📌 Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technology vision and architecture strategy for the e-commerce platform including catalog, search, checkout, and fulfilment systems
• Lead and scale the engineering organization covering backend, frontend, mobile, data, and DevOps functions across the platform
• Make critical technology decisions around build versus buy, platform migration, and cloud infrastructure strategy for scale
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance at peak e-commerce traffic volumes during sale events and campaigns
• Partner with the CEO and CPO to translate business priorities into technology roadmaps and resource allocation plans
• Drive a culture of engineering excellence including code quality, system design, incident response, and continuous deployment
• Represent the technology function to investors, board members, and technology partners in strategic discussions and due diligence

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution; MBA is an added advantage
• 12 - 22 Years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role
• Deep technical expertise in e-commerce platform engineering including search, catalog, cart, checkout, and post-purchase systems
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations of 50 or more engineers in a product or e-commerce company
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture on AWS or GCP for high-traffic e-commerce platform scale
• Ability to communicate technology strategy to non-technical founders, board members, and investors
• Experience with e-commerce platform modernization, legacy system migration, or headless commerce architecture transitions
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
