📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive, register, and acknowledge insurance claims from policyholders and hospitals
• Verify claim documents including discharge summaries, bills, and prescriptions for completeness
• Investigate claims for fraud indicators, pre-existing conditions, and policy exclusions
• Process cashless and reimbursement claims within IRDAI-mandated turnaround times
• Communicate claim decision (approved/partially approved/repudiated) with clear reasons
• Coordinate with TPA (Third Party Administrator), hospitals, and policyholders for additional documents
• Maintain claims MIS including claim amounts, TAT compliance, and repudiation ratios

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com/BBA/B.Sc. or any graduate degree from a recognized university
• 1 - 4 Years of insurance claims processing or medical claims experience
• Knowledge of health or life insurance policy terms, conditions, and exclusions
• Familiarity with medical terminology, diagnosis codes (ICD-10), and hospital billing
• Understanding of IRDAI claims settlement guidelines and TPA operations
• Strong documentation skills and ability to handle high-volume claims efficiently
• Good communication skills for explaining claim decisions to policyholders
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
