📌 Key Responsibilities

• Schedule dental appointments across multiple dentists and dental chairs by managing the clinic's appointment calendar to avoid overlap and optimise chair occupancy.
• Register new patients by collecting demographics, chief complaint, and past dental history, and creating patient files in the dental practice management software.
• Generate treatment plan cost estimates as provided by the dentist and explain payment options including EMI arrangements, insurance coverage, and corporate tie-up billing.
• Process bill payments in cash and digital modes including UPI, debit card, and net banking, issue receipts, and reconcile daily collections at shift end.
• Handle patient queries about treatment timelines, post-operative care instructions, and follow-up visit requirements with accuracy and empathy.
• Conduct recall calls and WhatsApp reminders for patients who are due for scaling, check-ups, orthodontic adjustments, or implant review appointments.
• Manage patient feedback collection after visits, log complaints in the CRM system, and escalate unresolved concerns to the clinic manager for resolution.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline with strong verbal communication skills in Tamil and English for managing patient interactions at the dental front desk.
• Proficiency in dental practice management software or HMS for appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing operations.
• Basic knowledge of common dental procedures including scaling, RCT, crown, implant, and orthodontic treatment to explain appointment types and durations to patients.
• Ability to explain dental treatment costs clearly, handle payment objections diplomatically, and present EMI or financing options available at the clinic.
• Experience with digital payment platforms including UPI, debit card terminals, and corporate billing portals for insurance-linked and tie-up patients.
• Good organisational skills for managing a multi-dentist appointment calendar, balancing emergency walk-ins with scheduled appointment flow.
• Empathy and patience for handling anxious or first-time dental patients and the ability to reassure and motivate them to proceed with recommended treatment.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

BDS degree with DCI registration for general dentist roles; MDS in the relevant specialty (Orthodontics, Implantology, Periodontics, Endodontics, Pedodontics, Oral Surgery) for specialist roles; CDTL or Diploma in Dental Technology for lab technician roles; dental hygienist certification for hygienist roles; BLS (Basic Life Support) for all clinical staff; infection control and sterilisation certification; AERB radiation safety training for X-ray operators
