📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive and triage adverse event reports from healthcare professionals, patients, and clinical trial sites
• Enter case information accurately into the pharmacovigilance database within 24-hour intake SLAs
• Perform initial MedDRA coding for reported adverse events and suspect drugs
• Identify serious adverse events (SAEs) and expedite to senior reviewers within regulatory timelines
• Follow up with reporters and clinical sites for missing case information and documentation
• Assist in preparation of Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and aggregate safety data
• Maintain accurate case processing metrics and contribute to team productivity targets

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Pharm, M.Sc Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, MBBS, or BDS
• 0 - 3 Years of drug safety or pharmacovigilance experience; freshers with relevant internship considered
• Basic knowledge of adverse event reporting terminology and medical terminology
• Good English reading and writing skills for case documentation and follow-up letters
• Attention to detail and ability to work with high-volume case processing under SLAs
• Familiarity with pharma regulatory environment preferred
• ICH GCP certificate or PV training from an accredited institution is an advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
