📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Execute spot, forward, and swap forex transactions for corporate and retail clients
• Quote competitive exchange rates and manage open positions within risk limits
• Advise corporate clients on currency risk exposure and recommend hedging strategies
• Monitor global currency markets using Bloomberg/Reuters and react to market movements
• Ensure all forex transactions comply with FEMA guidelines and RBI reporting requirements
• Reconcile forex deals and coordinate settlement with correspondent banks via SWIFT
• Prepare daily FX position reports, VaR analysis, and regulatory submissions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com/MBA in Finance or equivalent with 3-7 years of forex dealing experience
• FEDAI (Foreign Exchange Dealers Association of India) accreditation preferred
• Hands-on with Bloomberg terminal for rate monitoring and deal capture
• Strong knowledge of FEMA, RBI forex guidelines, and SWIFT messaging
• Understanding of derivatives: currency options, cross-currency swaps, and FX forwards
• Quick decision-making under market pressure and strong risk management discipline
• Good communication skills for corporate client advisory and inter-bank dealing
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
