📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 15-30 insurance advisors or sales officers to achieve premium targets
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing insurance sales team
• Achieve branch, zone, or channel-level premium targets across life or general insurance products
• Design and implement local marketing, referral programs, and community activation events
• Monitor sales team performance through daily activity tracking, conversion rates, and productivity metrics
• Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and claims teams for smooth policy processing
• Report sales performance and market insights to regional and zonal management

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA/B.Com/BBA with 6-11 years of insurance sales with 2+ years in team management
• Valid IRDAI license and strong knowledge of life or general insurance products
• Proven track record of managing and growing sales teams in insurance
• Strong recruiting, coaching, and people development skills
• Good knowledge of insurance regulations, product guidelines, and sales compliance
• Ability to build and motivate a team of diverse insurance advisors
• Strategic thinking for territory development and market penetration
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
