📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across banking operations, credit, treasury, and compliance functions
• Evaluate adequacy of internal controls, policies, and procedures for regulatory and operational risk mitigation
• Test compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and Basel III requirements
• Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and recommend practical corrective actions
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and management action plans
• Track audit observations and verify closure of open audit issues within agreed timelines
• Coordinate with external auditors, statutory auditors, and RBI inspection teams

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• CA, CPA, or MBA with 3-8 years of internal audit experience in banking or financial services
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations, and IIA audit standards
• Experience auditing core banking, loan processing, treasury, and compliance functions
• Good understanding of process risk assessment and control effectiveness evaluation
• Proficiency in Excel, data analytics (IDEA or ACL), and audit management tools
• Ability to write clear, actionable audit reports for management and audit committee
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
