📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop residential design schemes from schematic concept through design development and working drawing stages.
• Prepare complete working drawing sets covering floor plans, sections, elevations, joinery details, and finish schedules.
• Ensure designs comply with local building bye-laws, CMDA norms, and fire safety requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants to integrate their inputs into the architectural drawings.
• Attend design review meetings with clients and present scheme options clearly with supporting drawings and models.
• Manage drawing revisions efficiently and maintain an up-to-date drawing register for assigned projects.
• Support the project architect with site visits to monitor construction progress against approved drawings.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Arch from a COA-recognized institution with COA registration as a practising architect.
• 1 to 3 years of experience at a private architecture firm with hands-on residential project design experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently prepare a complete working drawing set for a residential project.
• Knowledge of Coimbatore building bye-laws, CMDA development regulations, and fire NOC requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Revit knowledge is an advantage for firms with BIM workflows.
• Good client communication skills for presenting design options and responding to design review feedback.
• Understanding of construction materials, building systems, and detailing conventions for residential projects.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
