📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory including UV-Visible spectrophotometer, HPLC, analytical balances, Karl Fischer titrator, and general glassware
• Prepare standard solutions, titrant solutions, and analytical reagents required for B.Pharm pharmaceutical chemistry practicals
• Assist faculty during practical sessions on volumetric analysis, spectroscopy, chromatography, and drug assay experiments
• Maintain chemical inventory including controlled solvents, primary standards, and reference substances with proper labelling and MSDS documentation
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on UV spectrophotometers, pH meters, Karl Fischer titrators, and other analytical instruments
• Ensure proper chemical waste segregation, solvent recovery, and disposal in compliance with environmental and lab safety regulations
• Maintain lab records including reagent preparation logs, instrument maintenance records, and student attendance sheets

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Pharm or B.Sc. Chemistry from a recognized institution with analytical chemistry lab experience
• 0 - 3 Years of pharmaceutical chemistry or analytical chemistry laboratory experience
• Practical knowledge of UV-Visible spectroscopy, HPLC principles, volumetric analysis, and gravimetric methods
• Ability to prepare accurate analytical reagents, buffer solutions, and standard stock solutions
• Familiarity with MSDS, chemical safety norms, and proper solvent handling and storage procedures
• Experience maintaining analytical instruments and performing basic calibration and troubleshooting
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping, reagent labelling, and chemical inventory management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
