📌 Key Responsibilities
- Plan daily delivery routes for riders and couriers to maximize delivery density and minimize transit time across assigned Coimbatore zones
- Supervise rider and courier attendance, vehicle condition, and load assignment at the hub before morning dispatch
- Monitor real-time delivery progress using logistics app tracking dashboards and intervene to resolve delivery exceptions and re-attempts
- Collect and verify proof of delivery records from riders at shift end and reconcile against the day's dispatch manifest
- Handle customer complaints related to delayed delivery, wrong address, or damaged parcel and coordinate with the customer service team for resolution
- Report undelivered or returned consignments with reasons and coordinate with the operations team for re-delivery scheduling
- Track rider and courier KPIs including daily delivery count, first-attempt delivery rate, and POD submission compliance
- Prepare daily last mile performance reports covering zone-wise delivery completion, exception count, and SLA adherence for the operations manager
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate degree from a recognized institution
- 1 - 4 Years of experience in last mile delivery operations, courier hub management, or urban logistics supervision
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team of 15 to 50 delivery riders or couriers across multiple urban delivery zones
- Familiarity with logistics delivery tracking apps and GPS-based route monitoring tools used in e-commerce or courier operations
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English for rider management and customer complaint handling
- Strong organizational skills to manage morning hub dispatch, real-time exception handling, and end-of-day POD reconciliation simultaneously
- Knowledge of Coimbatore urban road network, postal zones, and delivery zone planning for efficient route assignment
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
