📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set the design vision and philosophy for the architecture firm and ensure it is consistently expressed across all commissions.
• Lead or oversee the design of flagship and landmark projects representing the firm's highest-profile commissions.
• Build and maintain the firm's client network including developer, corporate, and institutional relationships.
• Drive business development including identification of new opportunities, fee negotiation, and contract execution.
• Manage the overall financial health of the practice including fee income, project margins, and overhead control.
• Build and develop the studio team, creating a culture of design excellence and professional growth.
• Represent the firm publicly through lectures, publications, award submissions, and industry associations.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Arch from a COA-recognized institution with valid COA registration and 12 to 30 years of architectural practice.
• Proven track record of founding or co-founding a private architecture firm or leading a major studio independently.
• A distinguished project portfolio spanning residential, commercial, institutional, or urban design commissions.
• Strong client network with demonstrated ability to generate and retain significant architectural fee income.
• Deep knowledge of practice management including fee structuring, contract law, and studio financial management.
• Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary design teams with a strong studio culture.
• M.Arch from a recognized institution and recognition through awards, publications, or academic contributions is preferred.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.Arch from COA-recognized institute (mandatory for all licensed architectural practice); COA registration (Council of Architecture India) for all practising architects and firm principals; M.Arch or M.Plan for urban design and planning roles; AutoCAD for drafting and working drawings; Revit and BIM 360 for BIM modeller and coordinator roles; Rhino, Grasshopper, and parametric design tools for computational design roles; SketchUp and Lumion for 3D modelling and visualization; IGBC AP or GRIHA evaluator certification for sustainable architecture roles; RERA awareness for project design and documentation roles
