📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic, administrative, and financial leadership to the nursing college
• Lead all INC recognition and periodic inspection cycles including self-study preparation, documentation, and inspection team coordination
• Manage affiliation with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) including annual renewal, programme approvals, and inspection compliance
• Maintain all statutory requirements of the Tamil Nadu Nursing and Midwives Council (TNMC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC)
• Lead faculty recruitment, performance management, and capacity building across all nursing departments
• Oversee clinical affiliation agreements with teaching hospitals and ensure adequacy of clinical posting facilities for INC norms
• Represent the nursing college before INC, TNMC, TNMGRMU, and management with full statutory authority

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Ph.D. in Nursing from a recognized university strongly preferred; M.Sc. Nursing with exceptional experience may be considered for smaller colleges
• Active TNMC registration mandatory
• 15 - 28 Years of nursing education experience with at least 10 years in teaching (5 as Professor/HOD) as per INC Principal norms
• Proven INC recognition management track record: successful completion of INC inspection cycles
• In-depth knowledge of INC norms for nursing college recognition, staff qualifications, infrastructure, and clinical facilities
• Strong leadership, institutional vision, and stakeholder management skills
• National nursing education standing through conference participation, nursing council roles, or nursing education publications
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
