📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead statutory audit engagements for private limited and public limited companies
- Apply risk-based audit approach to identify material misstatements and control weaknesses
- Review audit working papers prepared by assistants and ensure compliance with Standards on Auditing
- Draft audit reports, long-form audit reports, and CARO reports
- Verify compliance with Schedule III, Companies Act 2013, and applicable Accounting Standards
- Interact with client management and finance teams on audit queries and observations
- Coordinate with engagement manager and partner on reporting and sign-off timelines
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- CA Qualified or CA Intermediate with statutory audit experience mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Standards on Auditing issued by ICAI
- Familiarity with Companies Act 2013 audit requirements and CARO 2020
- Experience reviewing financial statements under Schedule III format
- Ability to lead a small audit team and review junior working papers
- Good communication skills for client interaction and audit query resolution
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation tools
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
